Abstract: The paper presents a MATLAB model of a 3 phase 12/8 pole SRM (H55BMBJL) using equations, which define the dynamic behavior of a linear inductance profile of the motor. On the basis of the discussed methodology, the user will be able to synthesize its own specific model, based on datasheets. The model is simulated and validated through the voltage control strategy and the hysteresis current control method. The accuracy of the model is proved with simulation results.
