Title: Evaluation of Multimedia Learning Materials in Microelectronics
Keywords: evaluation techniques; microelectronics education; multimedi

Abstract: This paper describes the pilot tests of a demonstrator of telematics-based course on microelectronics with 4th year students in at the Technical University of Sofia. It was developed within the Multimedia Optimization and Demonstration for Education in Microelectronics project developed by eleven European universities and research centers. In the demonstrator’s tests two new techniques for evaluation of telematics-based distance learning were used: records of textual and graphical communication files, and ‘tele-observation’.
