Title: One Atmosphere Barrier Discharges with Electrode Edge Effect

Abstract: A new development of the concept of using strongly non-uniform fields in the creation of technological plasma systems at atmospheric pressure is proposed. Experimental investigations showing the effectiveness of electrode systems, for which the length of the electrode corona-forming line is introduced as a parameter, are considered. In other words, the degree of influence exerted by the edge effect upon static characteristics of the discharge and electrical characteristics of the plasma system is taken into account.
