Абстракт: The producers recognize that Industry 4.0 creates significant opportunities to reduce costs and improve flexibility, productivity, quality and speed. But the introduction of digital industrial technology is proving to be a challenge. Many companies are struggling to develop programs for conversion that captures benefit and creates value. In the present paper, a methodological approach is developed for conducting an empirical research on the possibilities of implement-ing Industry 4.0 in Bulgarian industrial enterprises.
