Title: Experimental Determination of Tyre Lateral Force: Application to Tyre Cornering Stiffness

Abstract: Tyre cornering stiffness is an important parameter of vehicle modelling and can be used to evaluate vehicle lateral stability and handling. This work presents the results of the measured tyre lateral force that was created by a tyre slip angle set up in advance. The obtained results permit to estimate the tyre cornering stiffness. The results have been realized with a tyre mobile tester.
