Абстракт: Ethics of leadership in cross-cultural behavioral business ethics is examined in this paper. Some new issues arising in current development are defined based on social learning theory and leadership consulting practices. Among them are ethical aspects of international managerial language. The negative impact of platitudes and trivialities on organizational ethics is determined. The role of moral grounds in explanation of cultural differences is analyzed. Cultural differences in the moral person dimension of ethical leadership are stressed based on a culturally defined model of leadership. Hypernorms, as well as rules for ethical leadership in international projects are considered too. Moral leadership is seen as a kind of mixture of three ingredients (3 in 1): moral character, ethical management, and cultural intelligence. The paper concludes with cases used in teaching cross-cultural ethics at business school.
