Заглавие: ТРУДЪТ И НЕГОВАТА „АНИХИЛАЦИЯ“ В ГЛОБАЛИЗИРАЩИЯ СЕ СВЯТ
Ключови думи: work, labor, job, work „annihilation”, work ethic, protestan

Абстракт: The text is aiming to problematize transformations and reduction of work through a metaphorical concept of "work annihilation." Proposed conceptual analysis is based on reflection of classical and contemporary philosophical and sociological texts. The goal is achieved through reconstruction of labor idealization in the era of modernity and critical projection of changes in work in today's global world. Work transformations are discussed in the context of economic crisis and digitalization. Etymology and controversial use of "work", “labor”, and "job" are considered as well. An overview of the "glorification of labor" in philosophy of work in modernity is proposed. Changes in work ethic and so-called ethics of laziness are deliberated. Some suggestions for future research are proposed.
