In many cases, their cut-off frequencies and pass bands should be adjusted, in order to change the filter characteristics. In this sense, memristor-based filters are significant ones, owing to the possibility of simple alteration of memristance by external voltage pulses with comparatively high level and low frequency. When the memristor filters are in use, the input signal should be lower than the memristor activation threshold, in order to hold their resistance. Then, the memristors operate as linear and constant resistors. In this research, an additional analytical investigation of a multi-unit low-pass filter is provided, using the theory of two-port circuits. An equivalent circuit with minimal number of elements is also considered. Experimental analyses on memristor-based filters are conducted, using digital signal generator and an oscilloscope. Additional LTSPICE simulations are made and the derived results confirm the proper operation of the memristor filters under analysis. References - Strukov, D.B., Snider, G.S., Stewart, D.R.
