Title: Monitoring Noise between Car Tires and the Road Surface Under Different Road Conditions
Keywords: acoustic, automotive, innovations, measurements, monitoring, noise, software define vehicles, vehicles

Abstract: This study will examine a methodology for monitoring tire-to-road noise, which is the main source of noise pollution at speeds above 40-50 km/h. At lower speeds, the engine is more audible, but on highways, the tires dominate completely. Monitoring noise using microphones placed near the tire (often called On-Board Sound Pressure or OBSP measurement) is a powerful tool for both engineers and road diagnostics.
