Autors: Apostolov, N. S., Balabanov, G. R. Title: Application of Fuzzy Set Theory in Data Center Infrastructure Management Keywords: Data Center Infrastructure Monitoring, Data Centre, DC, DCIM, Fuzzy evaluationAbstract: Considering the multi-stage fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, this article analyses software platforms for DC controlling and monitoring, aiming for the most desired functionality from user perspective. Various problems have been reviewed which cannot be easily resolved due to enormous amounts of process indicators. The latter vary in their essence and measurement. The current work offers an approach using fuzzy logic to evaluate the basic metrics in the Data center-infrastructure management (DCIM) and the Data center (DC) environment. The characteristics of the DCIM management platforms are a measurement unit for their successful implementation from IT services vendors. References - Al.
