Title: An Active Control Scheme Implemented Via Nonlinear Feedback Linearization for Coupled Fractional-Order Rössler Oscillators: Two and Three Oscillator Configurations*
Keywords: active control, chaos, Coupled Fractional Rössler oscillators, Grünwald-Letnikov characterization, nonlinear feedback linearization

Abstract: This research analyzes synchronization and stability in coupled fractional-order Rössler oscillators under nonlinear feedback linearization control. Employing Grünwald-Letnikov characterization, we investigate two-and three-oscillator networks with diffusive coupling, applying control to the first oscillator after a specified switching time. Time-domain responses, synchronization errors, and eigenvalue analysis confirm chaotic dynamics without control and their suppression upon activation. Stability is verified via the Matignon criterion on the linearized system's eigenvalues. Transient synchronization errors are fitted to Mittag-Leffler functions, reflecting the algebraic decay characteristic of fractional-order systems. The results demonstrate that the proposed control scheme effectively stabilizes and synchronizes the network.
