Title: An Innovative Comparison of NetDevOps Configuration Management Solutions for Automation of Data Center Networks Keywords: Ansible, Chef, Data Center, DevOps, DevSecOps, GoLang, Infrastructure as Code, Network Automation, Puppet, Python Abstract: In this paper, a new model for comparing network automation solutions as they relate to data center networking infrastructure is proposed and tested. The different types of infrastructure as code solutions are summarized and demonstrated on a base testbed topology implemented in modern large-scale data centers. How the model should change to adapt different implementations of the DevOps culture as it relates to infrastructure as code, such as DevSecOps and GitOps, is demonstrated. Finally, it is shown how the model is modular and allows for easy changes to be made for it to adopt any languages and tools that might be leveraged for automation in the future. References
