Abstract: An alternative approach for minimization of pole frequency error and pole quality factor error in high Q-pole switched capacitor (SC) biquads is presented. It is based on the use of fast amplifiers with low but precisely known gain value in finite gain insensitive (FGI) SC structures. The effectiveness of this approach is demonstrating by designing two bandpass SC biquads.
