The proposed research combines different type of modulations- amplitude and frequency modulation of speech audio signals in various conditions related to the processing method of a cochlear implant and the sex of the talker as a speech sound signal source. The aforemendoned combination of different conditions of signal modulation is performed in various signal to noise ratio and different number of the frequency channels in the processing strategy. The numeric simulation of the proposed algorithm is used as a base for a comparison between the usage of 1-32 frequency channels in computing the mean squared error and varying the signal to noise ratio.
