Abstract: We present a novel RSFQ circuit allowing the generation of an SFQ pulse chain containing a fixed number of pulses and precisely controlled picosecond variable time interval between them. The generation of such SFQ pulse chains is necessary in many applications, but especially by the high-speed on-chip testing of RSFQ digital devices. The proposed circuit can be extended to a generator of an ultra high-speed rectangular voltage pulses with controlled and variable duration, suitable for readout by the conventional semiconductor electronics. Thus, an ultra high-speed digital data generation can be performed.
