Autors: Mitev, P. V. Title: Development of a Feeding System for Metal Sleeves with Axial Features Keywords: Abstract: In the material are reviewed the challenges related to feeding of parts with axial features, the special peculiarities of these parts as well as a sample feeding system with control system are proposed. Other examples of similar systems are also reviewed. This approach is related to parts that have holes or other types of slots with special geometry on the sides which could be distinguished. Normally, there is difference in dimensions of at least 0,3 - 0,5 mm which facilitates the comparison. The bigger diameter is able to get fixed into a pin while the smaller diameter is unable and is returned to the feeding system. The system always used a vertical tube that is used to collect the oriented parts and an escapement (separator) system could be built in the bottom of that tube. References - Mitev V., I.
