Абстракт: Въз основа на проучването на голям брой литературни източници е направен критичен анализ на съвместимостта и приложимостта на съществуващите модели на зрелост към специфичните изисквания на МСП и са изведени основните причини защо болшинството модели не са подходящи в една или друга степен за МСП. На базата на анализа е предложен оригинален Методически подход, с помощта на който се разработва зрелостен модел за оценка готовността на предприятието за внедряване на Industry 4.0. За тази цел е адаптиран подходът на серията международни стандарти ISO/IEC 33000 “Information Technology – Process Assessment”. На базата на предложения Методически подход е разработен Модел за оценка на зрелостта. Моделът може да бъде приложен към МСП извън сферата на IT за всеки оценяван процес в предприятието (включително организационно-управленските и социо-културните).

Abstract: SMEs are the driving force of many national economies. They often face different challenges and barriers from large companies and multinational companies. An in-depth review and analysis of the literature on the subject shows that very few studies have focused specifically on supporting SMEs in their transition to Industry 4.0. Some authors even call successful SMEs in this area "SME 4.0". The findings of the analysis in the literature review show that the current reference models and architectures for Industry 4.0 are more appropriate, useful and easily accessible to large enterprises and multinational companies. This is why, additional work is needed to adapt them to the needs of SMEs. Based on the study of a large number of literature sources, a critical analysis of the compatibility and applicability of existing Maturity Models to the specific requirements of SMEs is made and the main reasons why most models are not suitable for SMEs to one degree or another.
