Abstract: In the present work, eddy current losses in permanent magnets of a coaxial magnetic gear construction are estimated. Transient finite element method model is implemented for eddy currents calculation in dynamic operational mode. Simulations in different rotational speeds are performed and results for the eddy currents demagnetization effect over the torque conversion are presented.
