Abstract: The article presents experimental studies of thermal loading of toroidal transformers in stationary and non-stationary mode. The analytical description of the thermal processes of heating and cooling is based on the models proposed in the previous two articles, which differ from the well-known methods described in the literature, since the transformer and its adjacent coils are considered as an inhomogeneous body. The results based on the calculations from the analytical description of the thermal processes and the measurements made on a real object are compared, in order to verify the applicability and accuracy in temperature determination of the proposed models.
