Title: Analysis of a Multi-Coordinate Drive System Aiming at Performance Improvement Keywords: drive, rotary table driving, x-y drive Abstract: Some options for performance improvement of a four-coordinate electric drive system are discussed in this paper. The machines under consideration relate to a class of milling machines with multi-coordinate electric drive systems. The corresponding axes in this case are as follows: rotary table, x coordinate axis, y coordinate axis and spindle. Requirements for the drive characteristics of each coordinate axis are formulated. On this basis and experimental research carried out, a comparative analysis of different technical solutions is performed. The results of these studies can be used in development and set up of such multi-coordinate driving systems. References Issue
