Title: Influence of Cell Geometrical Parameters on the Performance of SOFC
Keywords: SOFC, fuel cell, geometry, polarization, model

Abstract: The paper aims at theoretically analyzing the influence of selected geometrical parameters (electrode thickness, electrolyte thickness and cell active area), on the performance of a single solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC). The analyses are performed on a model of a pre-defined intermediate-temperature anode-based planar SOFC. The model is thoroughly described in the paper, the variation in the cell polarizations under different values for the selected geometrical parameters is reported, and the results from the study are schematically presented.
