Title: State of the Industry 4.0 in the Andalusian Food Sector

Abstract: The food industry is a key issue in Andalusia's economic structure. This is both because of the weight and position of this industry in the economy and its advantages and potential. The term Industry 4.0 has many meanings. I'm trying to describe an intelligent factory where all processes are connected via the Internet of Things (IOT). Early advances in this area included increased flexibility and customization of the manufacturing process. Especially in the industry, it should be seen as an excellent opportunity for progress in the sector. The food and beverage industry, like others, is expected to be at the forefront of adopting flexible and customized manufacturing processes. This work presents the state of the art in the application of the proposed paradigm for Industry 4.0 to the food industry through a review of references.
