Abstract: One of the most important factors for finding answers to the challenges facing modern society is science and innovation. But finding innovative solutions is not so easy, nor so unambiguous. A rapidly changing world is hampering an education system that is struggling to adapt to new realities. To date, the rate at which our environment is changing is much faster than in previous decades. The reality today is very different from tomorrow. The pandemic has taught us how in a matter of hours we need to find new approaches, methods, and tools to continue the educational process at a high level. Social inequalities, migration and demographic processes are factors that are of great importance in shaping innovative approaches in education.
