Title: Options for Power Supplying an Object by Medium or High Voltage
Keywords: electricity distribution network, investments for construction of power lines, power supply options

Abstract: The paper proposes an assessment of the possibility of supplying electricity to a mining and flotation plant and a mine near the village of Rozino at a set installed capacity of 10 MVA. Medium or high voltage power supply options are considered. The necessary investments for construction of the two types of power lines are approximately close in value and do not have a significant impact on the choice of a supplying voltage. Small savings can be realized in the short term, but in the long run it is indicative that a 110 kV power supply should be chosen. The provided data and the calculated values are obtained with the average consumption of electricity set by the Contracting Authority. The obtained results are analyzed and conclusions are drawn, useful for the operation of electricity distribution networks.
