Title: Research on the impact of extrusion temperature, printing speed and layer thickness in 3D printing using material deposition technology
Keywords: 3D printing, FDM, regression analysis, surface roughness

Abstract: Over the last ten years 3D printing has gained a large market share thus leading to scientific research on improving the quality of 3D printing. The 3D printing technology using material deposition technology is becoming more and more relevant. We encountered some problems in this technology and one of them was the surface roughness of 3D printed samples and its impact of quality on the printed product. The aim of the research is to analyze the impact of extrusion temperature, printing speed and layer thickness on a printed item. It can be concluded that the layer thickness has the greatest influence on printing, hence the extrusion temperature and the printing speed have much smaller effects.
