Title: Assessment of the Impact of Snow Cover on Photovoltaic System Keywords: component, formatting, insert, style, stylingAbstract: The current report presents a study on the impact of accumulated snow on the production of electrical energy from photovoltaic panels. In addition to the characteristics of the snow cover, factors such as solar radiation, humidity, air temperature, and the geographical orientation of the panels have been taken into account. The reported data cover a period during which the photovoltaic panels were partially or fully covered with snow. Data analysis shows that the influence of snow presence on photovoltaic panels should not be considered solely regarding the electric power generated by them, and there is no clear-cut relationship observed between the amount of snow and electricity generation.
