Title: Modeling of Power Quality Disturbances Caused by EV Charging Stations with Integration of PV Systems
Keywords: EV charging, harmonics, power quality modeling, PV system

Abstract: This article proposes a model for assessing the impact of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations integrated with photovoltaic (PV) systems on power quality. The study aims to investigate the potential disturbances introduced by EV charging stations, particularly when combined with renewable energy sources like PV systems. The behavior of a power supply system with or without integrated PV installation can be modeled to assess the influence of inverter-based power supply on the power quality indicators. Simulation and analysis approach for transients and harmonic distortions caused by EV charging allows for studying the influence of PV integration on reducing these disturbances. The model allows the assessment of different electromagnetic disturbances under distinct system operating modes and load configurations.
