Abstract: The requirements regarding the reliable operation, uninterruptibility and safety in exploitation of mine electrical equipment are much higher than the requirements that are placed on electrical equipment operating in other branches of industry. The report presents the results of a study of faults occurred in the electrical equipment of mining machinery operating in an underground mine for a period of one year.
