Abstract: This paper will present a comparison between ground-based and aerial methods for obtaining thermographic images in the monitoring of pastures and livestock. The obtained experimental results will be examined, which will be compared and analyzed in order to obtain correct results applicable in intelligent animal husbandry, but also in environmental protection.
