Abstract: In this article, a model for analytical description of thermal processes in electromagnetic components, in non-stationary mode, is proposed. The heating of chokes and transformers with a toroidal magnetic core is considered, as the coils and the magnetic core are described as an inhomogeneous body. For this purpose, the equations for description of the processes, as well as calculations, and comparative studies are carried out.
