Abstract: The paper deals with estimation procedure of the induction motor parameters using the manufacturer's technical data. The results are verified by simulations. Various motor tests are modelled in the verification process: dc-voltage test for stator resistance identification, no-load test, shortcircuit test and under-load test simulation of the induction motor model. The model is based on the equivalent circuit of the motor, and its parameters are calculated using the methodology proposed in the paper.
