Abstract: In this manuscript a harmonic analysis of Boost DC-DC converter is presented. The model is realized in MATLAB/Simulink environment. A new approach for describing differential equations in state space is proposed. In this approach, the input signal of the system is equal to zero, and thus it is relatively simpler to determine the behavior of the system when external disturbances occur at each node. The simulation results are presented for two operation modes of the converter: minimum and maximum current. The presented research is useful both from the point of view of design and control synthesis and for the needs of training in power electronics.
