Title: Detection of Application Layer Ddos Attacks Based on Uml Modelling Keywords: HHTP GET Flood; high efficency; high obscurity; UML Abstract: Among numerous online attacks Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) has the most threatening effect on vital Internet services. A new proposed approach to characterize the system and to identify the assets has been adopted utilizing the UML diagrams. In this paper we are concentrating on application layer DDOS attacks, which are becoming more sophisticated and stealthy nowadays, by disabling major functions of the victim device. These attacks are prominently used to distract IT and security administration from security code of conduct. This paper is intended to propose solution on characteristics of application layer like high obscurity, high efficiency, highly targeted and huge effect on multiple applications. With the help of UML modeling, security developers' are at ease of designing and analysis security attacks at application layer. In this research paper, we tried to provide standard models for security attacks by UML diagram. References Issue
