Title: Influence of the Parasitic Components in Induction Motor Keywords: induction motor , inverter , filters Abstract: In the present paper, a simulation study of the influence of the parasitic components in a three-phase induction motor drive is made. A model including a three-phase uncontrollable rectifier, an inverter, a long cable and an induction motor was implemented. The model is described with mathematical equations and is implemented in PSIM software. In order to reduce the harmful effects of the long cable at high operating frequencies, a filter has been added. A comparison is made between the two models and a discussion is made in which the advantages and disadvantages of the proposed schemes are presented. References Issue
