Title: A Method and Equipment for Measuring Electrical Parameters of an Electric Vehicle
Keywords: Voltage measurement, Current measurement, Electric vehicles

Abstract: This paper presents a method and equipment for measuring current and voltage from the traction battery to the AC voltage inverter when an electric vehicle is moving. The experiments were carried out on a converted Nissan Micra electric car. The electric car features a five-speed manual gearbox, which is retained from the conventional layout, and measurements are presented in first, second and third gears, with the experiments conducted on the same route. Sensors have been selected to perform high-precision measurements. The results for current, power consumption and voltage drop are graphically presented and analyzed.
