Title: Energy Characteristic Analyses of Waste Wood Pellets

Abstract: In the presented study, some of the most important energy characteristics which mainly affect the efficiency of the combustion process in domestic combustion installations, have been experimentally determined and analyzed. To do that, measurements of experimental samples were performed. These samples were made of waste wood in the form of dust, granules and pellets for domestic use, on which the calorific value, ash content and moisture content were determined. The experimental samples were made of coniferous (white pine and spruce) and deciduous (beech and oak) wood. The necessary quality standards, relevant to the study are also discussed. After measuring and processing the data from the results, a comparative analysis was made between the studied samples and standard norms. It was found that the studied energy characteristics of all wood samples correspond to the norms in the standards.
