Title: Lighting Design for Ski Slopes in Foggy Weather Conditions Keywords: correlated color temperature (CCT), foggy weather conditions Abstract: The most frequently used lighting sources for design of skiing tracks are metal halide or LED floodlights. The recommended correlated color temperature (CCT) is from 4000 to 5000K, In conditions of fog, the visual task becomes repetedly complicated and spectral radiation with the CCTs recommended in the standard may cause difficulty in perceiving the environment and even disorientation. The publication presents a methodology for measuring brightness in foggy conditions. An experimental set-up and a stand based on the described methodology were created. Numerous spectral radiations were measured and their influence on the visual process in foggy conditions was analyzed. References Issue
