Title: Management of Electric Loads When Charging Electric Vehicles
Keywords: EV charging station control, load management, matlab

Abstract: In the recent years, the trend of growth in the number of electric vehicles (EV) has been constant. It is supported by both car manufacturers and government policies related to limiting climate changes. The increase in the use of electric cars requires expansion of the charging infrastructure for them. The development of this infrastructure often lags behind and limits the entry of a larger number of EVs into the transport. The problem in expansion of the charging infrastructure are often the limited capacities of the power sources in the urbanized areas. From this point of view, the management of charging stations is an important aspect because it can improve the utilization of the available capacities, their efficient use and facilitate the construction of charging stations. In this report, a classification of the possible charging station control methods is made. A control model and algorithm are developed, and simulations are made under specific load profiles for the distribution
