Abstract: This paper reviews the implementation of internet technologies in the assessment of the educational process. The system for assessment of the quality of education adopted at the Technical University of Sofia and the implementation of similar approaches to different projects are being reviewed. In order to verify the accomplishment of the educational tasks it is needed to carry out a bidirectional control of the process. In relation to that, assessment of students’ results, as well as taking into consideration of their opinion on the educational project is carried out. The approach to the comparison of those assessments is shown. The information, which is needed for the assessment is obtained using web sites related to each subject, system for electronic surveys and central university database. This approach is effective for the assessment of the results related to the carrying out of specialized courses or individual project tasks.
