Through vacuum metallization, the transport and selectivity characteristics of the membranes can be modified and through this modification make them applicable to the various fields of technology. The process of obtaining the metal coatings is dependent on the characteristics of the polymer, the methods of metallization and the technological parameters of the process. Two types of polyacrylonitrile membranes with different characteristics and structure were investigated. The influence of the exposure time during the vacuum metallization with Aluminum on the volume electrical conductivity of these membranes was monitored. The four-point Van der Pol method was used to measure the bulk electrical conductivity of the metallized ultrafiltration polymer membranes. References Issue
