Abstract: Hypereutectic Al-Si alloy AlSi18Cu3CrMn has been modified by 0.04% phosphorus and subjected to Т6 heat treatment at different mode parameters. The used cooling medium for quenching is water with temperatures 20 and 50 ̊С. After subjecting the alloy to the different heat treatment modes, its corrosion rate in an acidic medium of 1M H2SO4 has been studied.
