Title: Investigation of the effect of heat treatment on the microhardness and wear resistance of an alloy АlSi18Cu3CrMn Keywords: heat treatment, microhardness, reversible movement Abstract: The hypereutectic aluminium-silicon alloy AlSi18Cu3CrMn is modified with phosphorus. The alloy is subjected to heat treatment T1 and T6. For quenching at T6, a cooling medium with different temperatures was used. Artificial aging at T1 and T6 was carried out under different parameters (temperature and time). The microhardness, macrohardness and tensile strength of the compositions were measured, and their wear resistance in a tribosystem during reversible movement with boundary layer lubrication was determined.
