Title: Inverse scattering problems for cracked piezoelectric media

Abstract: Scattering problems in cracked piezoelectric plane are studied. The solution is based on boundary integral equation (BIE) representation of the scattered field in the frequency domain. The asymptotic of the fundamental solution and its derivatives in the far field are derived using the stationary phase method. Stress intensity factors (SIF) near the crack edge are determined uniquely by far field data. Numerical examples show the comparison between the identified and actual SIF.
