Abstract: This paper presents a possible application of the new artificial intelligence chatbot ChatGPT in education process of engineering courses. The AI is used to generate a code for controlling a system for simulation of air conditioner. The system is build by the students on the bases of Arduino Uno, thermocouple and a step motor. Since the generated code is not fully workable, the students have to debug, analyze and modify it. The introduction of AI in the lab will be estimated by the students based on the suggested survey.
