Title: INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY IN TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF SOFIA FOR THE PERIOD OF 2020-2023

Abstract: This paper presents the current situation about international mobility at Technical University of Sofia. The main programmes used are Erasmus+ in both incoming and outgoing activities as well as the pilot project of European University of Technologies. The study period covers the Covid19 pandemic and the year after and shows the trend in both types of mobility. Despite the significant number of international agreements the number of students and staff used the programmes are bellow the university strategic target. A survey on staff opinion about the mobility is also presented. The main problem mentioned by the respondents is inefficient recognition of the mobility whereas the main motivator for more mobility participation is “added professional qualification for career growth”.
