Title: A Simplified Methodology for H-plane SIW Horn Antenna Design Keywords: H-plane sectoral horn; Horn antenna; Low profile; Substrate Abstract: The H-plane horn antenna fabricated by waveguide integration in dielectric substrate (SIW) technology is presented in this paper. The considered antenna is designed on 4 layers dielectric substrate, which leads to an easy implementation using fabrication technology for multilayer PCB. An SIW implementation incorporates a bandpass filter with a straightforward cascade structure, seamlessly integrated into the feeding waveguide. This integration effectively restricts the excitation of higher modes within the dielectric, thereby ensuring excellent antenna feed matching. Simulated and measured results of the synthesized SIW horn antenna are presented. An antenna is designed for a center frequency of 6.3 GHz. References Issue
