Abstract: This paper presents the methodology used for the design of integrated circuits in CADENCE environment, which is an industry standard tool in the field of Microelectronics design. The main design flow is presented together with the possibilities for linking (netlist export) with other electronics design automation tools, e.g. SYNOPSYS.
