Abstract: In this article, we present a techno-economic analysis of a method to improve the quality of electrical energy in long low-voltage electrical networks, through a system of step-up 0.4/0.95 kV and step-down 0.95/0.4 kV transformers. A model for determining the profitability of the investment through an economic objective function has been proposed. An example is presented.
