Abstract: The architecture, characteristics, and elements of Blockchain technology used to create a peer-to-peer energy trading platform are outlined in the paper. Here, we discussed the benefits of Blockchain and distributed ledger technology (DLT) for energy trading applications and how they assist the expanding decentralization and democratization ideologies in the energy industry.
