Title: Design and Testing of Gas Diffusion Monitoring Chamber for Two Component Mixtures

Abstract: This paper presents a design of a gas diffusion monitoring chamber testing system for two component mixtures. It is realized by a hermetic mixing cylinder chamber and main testing chamber, made of transparent colorless polyacrylate glass. It is designed for determination of convection and diffusion processes of two component mixtures in controllable pressure and temperature environment. Input and outputs of the system could be controlled and gas mixing process could be recorded simultaneously, by sophisticated gas sensors. Catalytic gas sensors are used to estimates homogeneity of gas diffusion in transient mixing mode. Pressure digital sensors are used to determine internal chamber conditions. Main application of the monitoring system is for testing of CO 2 absorption contactors in different operational and environmental conditions.
